About.
Hello! I am Cecile (she/her), a professional makeup artist specialising in modern, romantic makeup for all faces. I am based in the Cotswolds, but I am happy to travel across the South West or abroad if you have a destination wedding in mind.
I qualified at the Central School of Makeup in Birmingham and trained in bridal makeup at the prestigious Kristina Gasperas Makeup Academy.
I am an absolute product junkie, and my kit is made up of the best luxury brands, ranging from Nars, Pat Macgrath Labs and Dior to Hourglass, Mac and Charlotte Tilbury, but I am presently moving into only cruelty free products, as keeping my business ethical is very important to me.
My work has been published in multiple magazines including Your Bristol and Somerset Wedding Magazine, Cotswold Life, Cotswold Living, Matrimony Magazine and Hitched, and I won a Hitched 2023 and 2024 awards for best bridal makeup artist in the South West.
FAQs
Do you do hair?
I don’t, but I work with lots of wonderful stylists who do, including Big Hair Energy by Tiel who is an artist with a hairbrush.
How many faces can you do?
Generally, I take bookings for no more than six people, however if you have a larger bridal party I am happy to source an assistant.
Should I get any treatments done?
Absolutely invest in yourself, proper skincare is like spanx for your face and will beam under makeup! However be wary of booking anything too close to the wedding day in case you have a reaction.
How far do you travel?
Though I am based in Cirencester, I am happy to travel to any venue, even if you have a sunnier landscape in mind for your wedding.
Can you do everyone’s makeup?
I have a diverse range of products in my kit and I am trained and experienced in all skin types and tones. As someone who suffers from dermatitis, I am also conscious of allergies and sensitivities, and will account for that when doing your makeup.
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as possible! I am currently taking bookings for 2025, and my 2024 diary is filling up fast.
